Halloween costume, clothes stolen from store

GLENDALE — Police arrested three people at the 99 Cent Plus store in Glendale on Myrtle Avenue near 68th Place Oct. 20 for allegedly stealing items, the New York Post reported.

The suspects — 19-year-old Barbara Forgit, 20-year-old Nicholas Forgit and 25-year-old Elba Guzman — pocketed clothes, a Halloween costume and beauty products around 1:30 p.m., the Post said. The three then allegedly knocked over the 99 Cent clerk as they fled, where police later captured them, the Post said.

They were charged with assault, petit larceny, possession of stolen property and harassment, the Post said.
