Name of third suspect in Astoria death released

ASTORIA — Police have released the name of a man suspected of a homicide that occurred in Astoria this spring.

Kyle Rivera, aka “White Chocolate,” is suspected of shooting Stefan Middleton in the torso following an altercation at 1:15 a.m., police said. Middleton was transported to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Rivera is the third suspect announced in the case, after Lashawn Battle and Anthony Johnson were arrested by officers from the 114th Precinct according to authorities
