FOREST HILLS — The wife of a foreign diplomat helped foil a mugging in Queens, according to officers from the 112th Precinct.
Isabella Hilaire was presented with an award for her service to local law enforcement March 16 after she helped stop a mugging in progress and then later assisted police by identifying the perpetrator, officers said.
According to officers, she is the wife of a French diplomat who represents the French Police and often works in Washington, D.C.
