Enthusiasts of blow-up bounce rides, carnival games, face painting, balloon art and prizes can get their fix while at the same time doing some good for their community this Friday by stopping by the annual PS 213 fund-raising carnival from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m in Bayside.
“The carnival is going to be a fabulous fund-raising event for PS 213 with fun, exciting activities for the kids,” said Cathy Grodsky, the fund-raising chairwoman of the school’s PTA. “Everyone at the school looks forward to this event each year.” The school is at 231-02 67th Ave.
Prizes to be raffled off include four tickets donated by the Big Apple Circus in Cunningham Park as well as four field-level tickets donated by the New York Mets. Nonno’s Pizza in Bayside and Grimaldi’s Pizza in Douglaston are also sponsors.
