RICHMOND HILL — A man was in critical condition at Jamaica Hospital after being struck by a car Friday, the NYPD said.
Police said that at 5:50 a.m., a 30-year-old man was hit at Atlantic Avenue between 74th Place and Elderts Lane as he was trying to pass from the north to the south side of the street between two cars.
The man, whose name was not released, was moved to Jamaica Hospital, police said. The driver of the car, a 2006 Nissan Murano, remained on the scene, police said.
Police have made no arrests and do not suspect criminality. The investigation was ongoing, police said.
