KEW GARDENS — It was not kosher with police when Rosemarie Vega, of Fresh Meadows, allegedly stole a woman’s wallet Aug. 18 outside Aron’s Kissena Farms, according to a criminal complaint from the Queens district attorney.
Vega, 23, of 65-56 Parsons Blvd., approached the woman around 4:30 p.m. outside the kosher supermarket near Kissena Boulevard and 72nd Road, the DA said.
Vega reached into the woman’s purse and pulled out the wallet, which contained cash and credit cards, the DA said.
Vega told police: “I took the wallet, removed $50 and threw the wallet,” the complaint said.
She was charged with theft and possession of stolen property, police said.
