FAR ROCKAWAY — Police arrested a man last week for ruining another person’s earphones during an attempted robbery, the Queens district attorney’s office said.
George Spinger, of Beach 57th Street, was arraigned Oct 12, on attempted robbery and criminal mischief charges, the DA’s office said.
On Oct. 10, Spinger and another man, who was not arrested as of press time Tuesday, approached the victim, withdrew a knife and demanded that the victim give up the headphones he was wearing, the criminal complaint said.
Spinger allegedly slashed the wire to the headphones and then punched the victim in the face, according to the complaint.
