A 68-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car during an accident early Thursday morning in Forest Hills, police said.
The woman, whose name was not released because her family was yet to be notified of her death, was struck by a gray Ford Crown Victoria driven by a man that was traveling eastbound on 108th Street near 62nd Drive in Forest Hills around 6:05 a.m. Thursday, police said.
No criminality was suspected, police said.
Cops found the woman unconscious and unresponsive. An ambulance took her to North Shore University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.
