Affinity Health Plan, in partnership with City Councilman Leroy Comrie (D-St. Albans), is expecting more than 5,000 eager youngsters and adults at its 11th annual Easter egg hunt this Saturday in St. Albans Park.

The event plans to feature amusement rides, coloring contests, music and an appearance by Rex, Affinity’s mascot. Healthplex, a major dental program vendor, plans to be on site to give out toothbrushes and provide free dental screenings for children.

The event is scheduled for April 7 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, in St. Albans Park on Merrick Boulevard. The egg hunt is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. All children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent.
