Police seek man who robbed woman on train

OZONE PARK — Police were asking the public to help locate a man wanted for allegedly robbing an A train passenger at gunpoint.

The NYPD said Christopher Jacobs, 22, was riding the A train Aug. 15 around 10:30 a.m. when he allegedly approached a female victim with a gun and demanded her property.

Jacobs allegedly made off with the victim’s property before getting off at the 88th Street station, police said.

Anyone with information in regards to this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
