Cops seek public’s help in finding missing woman

FLUSHING — Police were asking for the public’s help in locating a woman who has been missing since last week.

Ingrid Thera, 53, was last seen leaving her residence on Sanford Avenue at 9 a.m. Oct. 3, wearing a black shirt with gray pants and sneakers, police said.

Thera was described as white, 5-foot-4 and 240 pounds with brown eyes and black hair, according to the NYPD.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8447), submit tips online at nypdcrimestoppers.com or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
