Christian Cassagnol, a longtime member of Community Board 4, has been named the board’s new district manager.
The board, which serves Elmhurst and Corona, has been without a manager since Richard Italiano died of a heart attack in January after collapsing at his desk.
“I’m happy with the amount of support I’ve been getting from everybody around me,” Cassagnol, 34, said of his new position. “I feel comfortable.”
Cassagnol, who had lived in Corona, had been on the board for almost 10 years. He recently moved to Glendale.
