BREEZY POINT — Some residents of hurricane-hit Breezy Point said their damaged homes were looted over the Thanksgiving holiday, according to the New York Post.

At least three homeowners were robbed, with stolen possessions including a $25,000 coin collection, jewelry, watches and change jars, the Post said.

According to the paper, the neighborhood experienced 14 break-ins between Nov. 12 and Nov. 18, compared with zero the year before.
