RSS Bank teller tried to rob his place of work: Brown

Del.icio.usASTORIA — A teller at a Queens Citi Bank was arrested after attempting to stage a robbery at his place of work, according to documents from the Queens district attorney’s office.
On Jan. 27 at about 1:54 p.m., surveillance footage at the bank showed an unidentified man pass a note to teller Marc McLeod, 23, according to the DA.
McLeod was then captured handing the man a stack of cash totaling more than $3,000, according to the DA.
When questioned later, McLeod admitted he and the man had planned to stage a bank robbery that morning, the DA said.
McLeod told police he agreed to hand the man between $10,000 and $15,000 and then take a $5,000 cut to pay bills, according to the DA.
He was arrested and charged with conspiracy and grand larceny, the DA said.
