Hospice Care Network is seeking volunteer, licensed massage therapists to work with patients, caregivers and staff in Queens.
Massage therapy benefits hospice patients by providing symptom control and emotional and spiritual comfort. Massage therapy volunteers receive extensive training and supervision by the program coordinator, a specialist in geriatric and palliative massage.
Massage therapists who are passionate and committed to making a difference and looking to gain hands-on experience in this practice area are encouraged to apply.
Contact Licensed Massage Therapist Eva Pendleton, the complementary therapy program coordinator of Hospice Care Network, at 516-832-7100 or ependleton@hospicecarenetwork.org.
