Driver dies when car hits highway guardrail on Whitestone Expressway: NYPD

WILLETS POINT — A 26-year-old Elmhurst man was killed last week when his car smacked into a guardrail on the Whitestone Expressway.

Gregory Guerrero-Martinez was driving his 2004 Lincoln just before 2 a.m. Feb. 28 when he hit the barrier, police said.

No one else was injured, but Guerrero-Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

How does a person hit the guardrail can we assume these speed demon was driving too fast.
