FLUSHING — Police were asking the public’s help in finding a person suspected of breaking into a woman’s car as it was parked in a municipal parking lot near 135-20 39th Ave.

The 50-year-old woman locked her keys in her car and had gone to get help to retrieve them when the person broke in and stole her pocketbook, credit cards, money and iPhone, police said.

The credit cards were later used at an Hmart and a California Farmers Market by an unknown male, cops said.
