REGO PARK — Police were asking the public’s help in finding a woman suspected of stealing several items, including wallets and handbags, from people across the borough and in Staten Island from January to February.
The woman, Rehana Hussain, 43, was suspected of stealing a wallet from another woman while she waited in line at a Century 21 at Rego Center in January and making off with a purse left unattended in a woman’s shopping cart inside a Sunnyside Marshalls in February, along with at least six other incidents, police said.
Police said Hussain’s last known address was 143-48 41st Ave.
