Every newspaper in the country should print the names of the 41 Republican U.S. senators, along with the five Democrats, who voted down the gun control bill.

It will make it easier for the National Rifle Association when it mails out the checks. Anyone who believes the NRA executives — the majority of whom have financial interests in gun manufacturing companies — give a damn about the Second Amendment is an idiot.

It is all about profits over the lives of children. A perfect depiction of this whole debate would be the NRA executives, and the politicians in their pockets, dancing on a pile of money, strewn across the graves of the children killed in the Newtown, Conn., massacre.

Lou from Bayside says:
After a lengthy respite , more dribble from La Rosa. They are never getting the guns. Get over it. If the fiendish Obama ever makes a move on the guns with his Blue helmeted UN troops there is going to be a fierce resistance the likes of which has never been seen. The politicians who voted for the measure DANCED on the graves of the Sandy Hook children. These same phonies who feign love and care for the children have no problem authorizing full term babies being murdered by having their brains sucked out! THey are phonies and willing ,complicit citizenry like yourself are phonies as well. It is clear that the American people realize that as long as there are fiends like Bloomberg and the guy with the fake Connecticut social security number who believes as his father did in 100% taxation guns of all sizes and power will be necessary to defend against tyrants. How about some fake tears for all the brown skin babies Obama has killed through drone attacks?

Paul from Patchogue says:
Much effort is made through the media by those that wish a person’s right to defend theirself and their loved ones was not protected by the US Constitution under the Second Amendment. Let’s call these people “anti 2A”. These are people that believe law-abiding American Citizens should not have the right to be armed.

One of the tools used by those who are against the right to keep and bear arms is the use of the term “Gun Lobby”. Whenever those that are “anti 2A” are saying they’re trying to impose some sort of a ban or incredibly severe restrictions on who can “keep and bear arms” (using misleading words like “reasonable” and “common sense”) but they can’t because the “Gun Lobby” is too powerful this is what the anti 2A want you to think –

By saying, “The Gun Lobby will not let us...” the anti 2A want you to believe that the “Gun Lobby” is a faceless machine created by the gun manufacturers for the sole purpose of selling guns.

Here’s what the “Gun Lobby” really is –

The “Gun Lobby” is the millions of fellow law-abiding American Citizens that have come together to make sure their right to keep and bear arms, as protected by the US Constitution’s Second Amendment – is not infringed. American Citizens that realize there are many, many violent crimes resulting in severe physical and mental trauma, even death, where help is not a phone call away. Where an outcome between life and death is determined in seconds. Or the ability to call for help is just not there. These are fellow American Citizens who, for the most part, have taken the time to learn how to defend theirself where, the anti 2A, for the most part – have not.

This is why the anti 2A say "The Gun Lobby will not let us...". It don't come out the same when the anti 2A says, "The American Citizens will not let us..."

We, who believe in the right to keep and bear arms, respect the decision of the anti 2A to not want to take it upon theirself to provide for their personal safety or the safety of their loved ones but wish to rely on the police to provide this. That’s fine. Respect our position that there are many times when you will not be able to call for help and the ONLY person that can save you is.... you.
