TimesLedger Newspapers

FLUSHING — A man walked into the Oceanica Restaurant in downtown Flushing last month and helped himself to the cash register, the NYPD said.

On May 11 at about 8:15 a.m. a man wearing blue and white striped pants, a gray baseball cap, a hooded sweatshirt and carrying a gray backpack entered the eatery, at 37-02 Main Street, and removed money from the register, police said.

No one was injured in the incident, but police have released an image of the suspect.

Those with information should contact NYPD’s Crimestoppers by calling 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting its website at or texting 274637 (CRIMES) and entering TIP577.
