LONG ISLAND CITY - Police were hunting for a man who allegedly robbed a deli worker at knifepoint in Long Island City, the NYPD said.

Cops said the suspect went into New Happy Deli on Oct. 3 at about 6 a.m., allegedly brandished a knife and demanded an employee hand over cash.

After the worker complied and handed over an unknown amount of money, the suspect fled, police said.

Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 20s, who is about 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black baseball hat and black sandals, cops said.
