LIC burglary suspect uses rocks to break in: Police

LONG ISLAND CITY - The NYPD was searching for a suspect wanted for questioning in five Long Island City burglaries, according to cops.

The suspect allegedly threw rocks from an adjoining rooftop to gain entry to the locations and removed property, police said.

The NYPD described the suspect as a black man in his late 40s or early 50s with a bald head and medium build. Authorities said he allegedly stole jewelry and eye glass frames.
