Beverly Ordonez-Sacks, of Flushing, died Saturday. She was 65.
She was born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan Feb. 2, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Alex and Dolly Cohen Sacks.
Ordonez-Sacks was previously employed by Lanscott Arlens Textiles for more than 20 years. In her leisure time she loved cooking, caring for homeless animals and attending estate sales.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother. A strong woman, her family was important to her.
Ordonez-Sacks is survived by her two sons and three granddaughters. She is predeceased by her brother and her husband.
