Correction officer charged with engaging in sexual conduct with minor: Police

FOREST HILLS — An off-duty city Department of Correction employee was arrested Jan. 7 and charged with engaging in sexual conduct with a minor, according to police.

Authorities said Giovanny Campos, 41, was arrested within the confines of the 112th Precinct, which covers Forest Hills and Rego Park.

Campos was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and sexual conduct with an individual under 17.
