Woman found slashed in Kissena Park identified: NYPD

A woman whose disemboweled body was found in Kissena Park in Flushing Sunday has been identified as Elmhurst resident Qing Qing Kiemde, 28, in what police have classified as a homicide, investigators said.

At about 2:52 p.m., police responded to a call of an unconscious individual inside Kissena Park in the area of Colden Street and Laburnum Avenue, according to the police.

Upon arrival, officers found Kiemde, who was fully clothed, unconscious and unresponsive with slash wounds to the neck and stomach, police said. EMS responded and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident has been deemed a homicide, officials said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation was ongoing, according to a police spokeswoman.
