Man steals iPhone from F train passenger: NYPD

The NYPD was searching for an unidentified male suspect in connection with a grand larceny on the subway.

The victim, a 36-year-old female, was aboard a Manhattan-bound F Train May 7 around 5 p.m. looking at her iPhone, police said. When the train doors opened at the Sutphin Boulevard station, an unidentified male, who was also aboard the train, snatched the victim’s cellphone from her hand and fled the train and the subway system on foot, police said.
