The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield up to approximately up to 8,000 net usable square feet in the City of New York, Borough of the Bronx for use as commercial office space.
The space must be contiguous; (street level preferable on first floor) and must not exceed 8,000 net usable square feet. The space shall be located in a modern quality building of sound and substantial construction with a facade of stone, marble, brick, stainless steel, aluminum or other permanent materials in good condition.
The space must be handicapped accessible, ADA compliant, and can be provided by new construction or modification of an existing space. If not a new building, the space offered shall be in a building that has undergone, or will complete by occupancy, modernization or adaptive reuse for the space with modern conveniences. A 10 year leas; 5 years firm will be considered.
All commercial office/clinical spaces within the geographic area in the City of New York, Borough of the Bronx, Neighborhoods of Edgewater Park. Parkchester, Riverdale, Throggs Neck, Pelham Bay and Westchester Square will be considered and given priority. Spaces with available parking with be given preference. A market survey or properties offered for lease will be conducted by the Department of Veteran Affairs.
