When Gleason’s auto repair shop on Bell Boulevard closed down in December — seemingly overnight — customers were left scratching their heads and wondering where to go to have their vehicles’ head gaskets replaced. Comment
Bell Boulevard’s Bourbon Street restaurant played host to the Queens Chamber of Commerce’s first business card exchange of 2012 last week, when the borough’s captains of commerce stepped out of the staid January doldrums and networked with one another amid a Mardi Gras theme. Comment

I read the reports that there is opposition from merchants to the Jackson Heights pedestrian plaza that was established last fall on 37th Road between 73rd and 74th streets. Some of the opposition claims that the loss of parking spaces has hurt business in the area. Comment
