Queens Neighborhoods United rallies against Jax Hgts BID expansion

Nearly three dozen members of Queens Neighborhoods United rallied across the street from the 82nd Street Partnership Monday, protesting the plan to expand the business improvement district from Jackson Heights into Corona. Comment

GJDC gets a new president after 40 years

The Greater Jamaica Development Corporation announced Hope Knight, former CEO of Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, will succeed Carlisle Towery, who served as president for the not-for-profit for the last 40 years. Comment
