Borough’s LGBT community upset that Chick-fil-A is moving in

Members of the borough’s LGBT community are upset that Chick-fil-A will open its first restaurant in Queens this fall. The Atlanta-based chain with a history of anti-LGBT activism will open a location in the food court of Queens Center mall at 90-15 Queens Blvd. Comments (4)

Fairway in Douglaston to stay open despite bankruptcy

It will still be business as usual for Fairway Market after the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Monday. According to the grocery store chain’s corporate office, all stores are to remain open, including the location in Douglaston. Comments (2)
