Recount should not have happened

It was nice of City Councilman James Gennaro (D−Fresh Meadows) to finally concede the election in the 11th Senate District to state Sen. Frank Padavan (R−Bellerose). But let’s not forget that this occurred after three months and several thousands of dollars of wasted taxpayer money resulting from a recount which never should have been. Comment
