ROSEDALE — Police were looking for clues into the mystery surrounding a bear’s foot that was discovered near the trash at a man’s home. Comment
Police say that a 30-year-old Asian man was struck and killed on the eastbound Long Island Expressway near 48th Street last Thursday at about 6 a.m. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and the man was pronounced dead. As of Tuesday, the man had not been identified and police said they believe he was homeless. No one was arrested, and no criminality was suspected in the accident as of press time, according to police. Comment
