Nearly two years after a 21-year-old Rockaway Beach man was violently gunned down, a suspect was convicted of the killing, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown announced last Thursday. Comment
RICHMOND HILL — Police were trying to identify a suspect wanted in a Richmond Hill burglary. On Sept. 10 at about 2 a.m., the suspect allegedly broke the back door of Darbar’s Chicken & Ribs on Liberty Avenue, the NYPD said. A Lower East Side resident has been convicted of brutally strangling to death a transgender woman in her Glendale apartment in 2010, attempting to hide evidence of the murder and stealing the woman’s belongings, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said last week. Comment
