Elderly Ridgewood woman found dead days after boyfriend charged with assault: DA

Police were investigating the death of a Ridgewood woman whose body was found in her apartment five days after her boyfriend was charged with assaulting her, the NYPD said. Police responded to the home of Janina Olszewaka, 80, Thursday to find the woman unresponsive, according to law enforcement. When EMS arrived, they declared the woman dead, the cops said. Comment
