Concannon outspending Grodenchik on City Council general election

Republican City Council candidate Joe Concannon, who has raised over $121,000 for his campaign, has outspent his Democratic opponent Barry Grodenchik, who has raised more than $220,000, by 5-to-1 in the last month, according to city Campaign Finance Board disclosure reports. Comment

Extend the Zadroga Bill now

Congress needs to extend the Zadroga Bill, which has been helping first responders to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. There are still many people who worked at that site who are quite ill with cancer, emphezema and other lung-related illnesses who must be compensated. Comment
