For centuries, people in China have celebrated the Lunar New Year in temple fairs. Bring your family to enjoy live performances, traditional crafts and fusion foods and celebrate the Year of the Dog. February 11, Flushing Town Hall will present episodes of traditional Hui and Huangmei opera, two types of iconic Chinese regional opera from An-hui province, folk songs and dances from An-hui during the 3-hour event. To accommodate the special presentation on February 11, there will not be any craft stations or food vendors that day.
