Civic seeks Board 13 help on waste site

Mike Castellano, president of the Lost Community Civic, asked Community Board 13 for help to try to determine if the toxic waste that has been found underneath the old Lockheed-Martin factory on the Queens/Nassau border is a threat to northeastern Queens.

He spoke to more than 45 community residents and civic leaders who showed up at the board
