Happiness to Cathleen Shannon (whom I have known since she was 2) and Warren King, who were married in Maine. Maid of Honor was sister Lucie Ann Shannon and Best Lady was Maureen King. They were married in a church that was founded by her ancestors in 1832 by her Cousin Dr. Sherwood Anderson in New Vineyard, Maine. Honeymoon was in Arcadia, Maine.

A reunion for the Class of 1963 from St. Luke's School (grammar school), Whitestone, their 40th anniversary, is set to take place in 2001. There were 325 graduates and the whereabouts of 122 are unknown. Please contact Lorraine (Cavicchi) Mazzocchi at (718) 352-5341 to make arrangements.
Diocesan Golden Wedding Celebration: Our Lady of Louirdes, 92-96 220 Street, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2 p.m. Bishop Valero, presiding. Each couple will be presented with a scroll and will have their picture taken with the Bishop. Light refreshments will be provided after the ceremony. The Monsignor Dillon Council of the Knights of Columbus, through the Adrian Conte Memorial Scholarship Program, has awarded five one-year Catholic School scholarships for children or grandchildren of its members. SABINA SAYS: July is a big birthday month for us, since both Rocco and I celebrate. I am younger than him by 20 days, and at this stage every little day is important. Of course, Caffe on the Green is our special place to celebrate and this smoothes the aging process. You are supposed to get wiser as you get older, so we are very, very wise.
