Daniel Pazanin, Mac Crook, Mike Zirpoli and Angelo Rovetto also provided defensive support. Special mention goes to James Cazzola whose always smiling face was as bright as the sun after his four hit day.

St. Roberts whole team played well with excellent at-bats by Angela Polloni, Joey Riccardo, Megan Einersen and Thomswon Phung. Defensive stars for the team were Eliot Geller, Kelly Homenick Christine Pipia and Samantha Kosentino.

In one of their best defensive peroformances of the season, the A’s held off a strong Bluejay;s offense for the win.

For the A’s some of the outstanding plays on the field were turned in by Tyler Portolatin, Daniel Pazanin and Jesse Bagel along with the sure gloves of Mike Zirpoli and Max Goodrich at first.

Offensive muscle came off the bats of Dylan Goodman, Angelo Rovetto, Julie Wagner and Ben Margolin who went 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs.

The Bluejays entire line-up cracked with key at bats by Matthews Schwarts, Brandon Rosenblum and Andrew Dublin. Not to be outdone, defensive gems were turned in by the gloves of Ethan Widowsky, Walter Bonne and Matthew Mattone fielding his position well at pitchers mound.
