Russell is suspected of committing three robberies near 50th Avenue and 48th Street in Woodside Monday and Tuesday, police said. During each instance, the man allegedly got out of a black Chevy Caprice, flashed a badge to his victims, took their money and personal property and fled in the Chevy, police said.

Officers from the 105th Precinct pulled over Russell at 113th Avenue and 212th Street, police said.
