Longtime Community Board 10 district manager Jimmy Vacca formally became a councilman on Sunday, January 1, and will open a district office on East Tremont Avenue as early as the start of next week.
Vacca has selected for his office a first-floor, handicapped-accessible space at 3040 E. Tremont Avenue that was formerly occupied by the state Department of Labor. The doors will open as soon as the phones are set up, the furniture is delivered and some last-minute renovations are complete, he said.
The Tremont office will serve as Vacca
