Police are searching for a suspect who they say killed a 40-year-old man early Tuesday morning.

Officers responded to calls of a man shot near 50th Street and 31st Avenue around midnight where they discovered the unidentified victim shot once in the head, police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

No arrests were made as of press time Tuesday and the investigation was ongoing, police said.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8447).
