To win one Colgate Games is an achievement, but to win in back-to-back years is a statement.

Co-op City resident and Villa Maria Academy student, Lauren Lyons, put her mark on the sport of track when she took home first place in the 55-meter dash at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, February 2.

Lyons, whose fastest time of 7.6 seconds matched her efforts last year, was competing with an injury that almost took her out of the competition.
