On Sept. 15, I will vote for Jerry Iannece for City Council in the Democratic primary.

While Paul Vallone was busy living in Astoria, Iannece has been active in our community, serving our families. While Iannece was chairman of Community Board 11, addressing our northeast Queens issues and solving our problems as a volunteer, Vallone was serving on a community board in a different community, more than seven miles away.

Vallone has done nothing for our community. I and many of my neighbors are offended and outraged someone who has done nothing for anyone thinks he can play off his name and represent us.

Iannece is running for the Council because he cares about this community. Vallone chose to run here out of convenience.
