ASTORIA — A 28-year-old Astoria man was arrested after he allegedly threw a woman against a wall in his home and punched her, the Queens district attorney said.
Ryan Kennedy, of 30-49 Crescent St. in Astoria, was arraigned July 28 in Queens Criminal Court and released on his own recognizance, Queens DA Richard Brown said. The defendant, who will return to court Sept. 8, was charged with assault and harassment, the DA said.
Kennedy allegedly grabbed the woman by her arms, threw her against the wall of his home, kicked her legs and punched her about the head, the DA said.
The victim allegedly sustained bruising to her arms and legs, the DA said.
