School officer sold drugs in Jamaica: NYPD

JAMAICA — A school safety officer was arrested last week for selling drugs outside a private residence, police said.

Donald Gibbs, 47, is accused of BROOKLYN — A Far Rockaway teen was arrested last week after she left the scene of an accident where a delivery man was killed, police said.

Kathryn S. Foris, of Beach 128th Street, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident Friday for the incident that took place the night before at Gerritsen and V avenues, police said.

Around 8 p.m., Ju Xiang Chen, 49, was driving his moped for a delivery and was trying to cross onto Gerritsen Avenue from Avenue V when Foris struck him with her Nissan Altima, investigators said.

The teen allegedly ran a red light as she was making her way southbound on Gerritsen Avenue, according to police.

Chen was rushed to New York Community Hospital of Brooklyn, but was pronounced dead when he arrived there, investigators said.selling the contraband outside 107th Avenue and Guy R. Brewer Boulevard around 8 p.m. Jan. 4, police said.

He was charged by the NYPD with criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, according to investigators.
