Hearing planned on new Middle Village charter school

The city Department of Education is holding a public hearing about proposals for a new charter school in Middle Village.

The DOE invites residents to make comments on the proposed school, Middle Village Preparatory School, at the hearing scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 16, at 6 p.m.

All attendees who wish to speak must sign in by 5:30 p.m.

The hearing will be held at the District 24 office, at 98-50 50th Ave. in Corona.

Christ The King is a school with a low academic reputation and scandle after scandle with the adults. No wonder they have a wing of the school empty. 8th graders should go to St Francis Prep, St John's Prep or Molloy for a co-ed Catholic High School.
