RICHMOND HILL — A 14-month-old girl, who had not been riding in a car seat, was in serious condition at Long Island Jewish Hospital after a two-car crash in Richmond Hill involving the minivan she was riding in Monday, according to a report in the New York Post.

The child, which the Post identified as Gianna Gonzalez, was in the minivan with her grandmother and the driver, family friend Jose Santiago, 67.

According to the Post, the other vehicle, a Honda, was owned by a local driving school, D & E Driving School.

It was not clear who had the right of way and the driver of the Honda passed a Breathalyzer test, but Santiago was issued a summons for not having a child seat in the car, the Post reported.

I was told today that they are Pulling the Plug on The Little Angle Tomorrow.. She is Brain Dead & Has No Movement. I saw the Little thing & I Wanted to believe that she was going to make it but there was no way. Her head hit the Windshield & her Grandmother was on the Floor Shaking her to try to revive her, but there was No Movement. so the Doctor's Decide to to pull the Plug on her 12-10-12.
May God Take her & give her wings & let her be at peace always..
