Suspect stole cell phone at Astoria Laundromat: NYPD

ASTORIA — Police were searching for a suspect who committed grand larceny at an Astoria Laundromat in January, according to the NYPD.

The victim, a 35-year-old woman, was inside a Laundromat at 23-11 21st Ave. in Astoria Jan. 21 at about 10:30 a.m. when the suspect approached her, grabbed her Samsung Note cell phone and credit card, the NYPD said. There were no reported injuries.

No arrests have been made, according to a police spokeswoman. The investigation was ongoing.
