LAURELTON — A postal worker in the midst of mail delivery was slashed Monday afternoon by a man who then fled inside his own Laurelton apartment, police said.
Police said the incident occurred in the early afternoon. The postal worker was allegedly slashed by Robert Powell, 32, outside of his residence at 137-37 220th Place, according to the NYPD. Powell retreated into the house but was later apprehended by police without incident.
